I take pride in the quality and sourcing of all of the ingredients that go into my products. I source organic, grass-fed, local, etc, as much as I possibly can. The below is a list of some of the ingredients found in my products. It is not an exhaustive list. Please see the individual product listings in my Etsy shop for full lists of ingredients in each item.
GRASS-FED
BEEF TALLOW
For centuries, animal fats were used for cooking, to make candles, medicinal salves and poultices, to waterproof skin and garments, and for cosmetic purposes. Beef tallow is an age-old traditional farmstead ingredient, and for good reason! What exactly is it, you ask? Tallow is the rendered form of beef suet, or fat. The fat is very delicately heated, melted down, and strained of impurities, leaving a creamy substance called tallow. Tallow is rife with fat-soluble vitamins, minerals and amino acids, which promote cell generation. It also boasts antimicrobial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Perhaps most interestingly, tallow contains the same lipids (fats) found in healthy, youthful human skin. Because of this, it is incredibly easy for our skin to absorb and is believed to prevent dryness at the cellular level. The tallow that is used in NMN products is grass-fed and sourced right here in the US of A.

PURE
OLIVE OIL
Olive oil has a long history of being used in skincare remedies. In Ancient Egypt it was used alongside beeswax as a cleanser, moisturizer, and antibacterial agent. It is rich in Vitamins A, D, E and K, which all have their benefits for the skin. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant which can protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and also help to fade and smooth out wrinkles and scars. It also boasts antibacterial properties which can help to soothe bacterial skin infections such as eczema, psoriasis and acne. Along with antioxidants, olive oil also contains potent polyphenols that help restore and renew skin cells. The olive oil used in NMN formulations is a cold-pressed pure olive oil.

ORGANIC
BEESWAX
Mankind’s use of beeswax dates back to Neolithic Europe, where it was actually used in dentistry as a therapeutic dental filling to reduce pain and sensitivity in a cracked tooth. The more ya' know! Nowadays beeswax is well-known for many other uses. When applied to the skin it forms a natural barrier between the skin and the environment, locking in moisture and providing a protective layer without clogging pores. Beeswax is also high in Vitamin A, which has been shown to support cell reconstruction and health. Beeswax also has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can aid in the healing of wounds while keeping the skin clean and discouraging the presence of fungus and bacteria. The beeswax used in NMN products is a certified organic yellow beeswax.

PURE
LANOLIN
Also known as wool wax, lanolin is a natural oil that is extracted from shorn sheep's wool. Lanolin is a byproduct of the wool industry. If it did not go to use for cosmetics, skincare, etc, it would go to waste. The use of this raw material in skincare dates back thousands of years. It is a wonderful emollient, locking in moisture and preventing water loss. Like beeswax, lanolin forms a protective barrier on the skin without clogging pores. This incredibly moisturizing ingredient can heal chapped lips, dry cracked hands and similar skin conditions. Lanolin is an essential ingredient in NMN hand salves and lip balms!

SWEET
ALMOND OIL
Almond oil has been used for centuries in ancient Chinese and Ayurvedic practices to help soothe and soften the skin and to treat minor wounds and cuts. This oil is rich in many skin-nourishing compounds including vitamin E, vitamin A, monosaturated fatty acids, protein, potassium, and zinc. Together these powerful nutrients keep your skin healthy at the cellular level, prevent damage from UV radiation, help the skin retain moisture and heal dry, chapped skin. This lovely oil is also known to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The sweet almond oil used in NMN products is naturally cold-pressed.

NATURAL
AVOCADO OIL
Avocado in skincare can be traced back to the Aztecs, Incas, and Mayans, as they would spread the fruit pulp on their skin for use in various cosmetic applications. The antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties in this oil help the skin stay smooth and elastic. Avocado oil is known to be very effective at healing dry, chapped or irritated skin, as well as moisturizing the skin and protecting it from UV radiation. The avocado oil used in NMN products in expeller-pressed, which is similar to cold-pressed in that it is a natural and chemical-free process.
